Best of the Green Food Products

I have tried numerous other "green food" powders over the last couple of years (more on that in a minute) and finally settled on Green Vibrance as the highest quality and overall best among all those I tried.



It has 3.5 grams per serving of actual "green foods" which is more than many other green products. It also has many other important herbs and various nutrients and all in significant enough doses and potentcy to actually work. This is also rich in probiotics and prebiotics which are also vitally important. Best of all I actually DO get an energy boost from this product and notice other signs that it is working including smoother skin improved mood and simply "feeling better".



Some of the others I tried:



Greens+ - This is another good "green food" product and if Green Vibrance wasn't available I would go with this one. Very similar to Green Vibrance but in my opinion Green Vibrance edges Greens+ out slightly.



Green Magma - This product is high-quality as well but doesn't have quite as many nutrients as Green Vibrance or Greens+.



Earth's Promise by Enzymatic Therapy - Pretty good product but like Green Magma it doesn't have nearly as many nutrients as Green Vibrance or Greens+.



Garden of Life "Perfect Food" - Has more greens but their products should be avoided at all cost. They are way over-priced and the founder has one of those mail-order "Doctorate" degrees. (His first book is a real crack-up too with parts of his biography that don't add up.) In fact The Amazing Randy (a famous skeptic here in the U.S.) has totally exposed the founder of this company. Do a Google search and you'll find it. Basically I wouldn't trust ANYTHING this company does or makes.

Wow. WOW! So Good!

This is so far my very favorite protein shake.



If you love coffee then you should follow the directions- the mocha flavor is nice and strong in 12 oz of fluid (I do milk to up the protein content; more on that later). If you like coffee with chocolate flavor then this is the mix for you!



Personally I like putting 16 oz of milk in a Blender Bottle (with the genius blender ball) and then two scoops of Click powder. I personally love mocha when the chocolate is predominant with a hint of coffee and this tastes like chocolate milk with a delicious coffee undertone.



My only complaint is that the protein content is a little bit low (15g per serving) and it's $1.50 a serving. Honestly it's so good that the money is worth it. It's also way less spendy- at least half the cost of your average drink- than getting a mocha at a coffee stand and far healthier. As far as the protein goes if I do the 16 oz of milk then I get 33 grams of protein in a shake. Not too bad and again it tastes so great!



As an RNY gastric bypass patient I find it difficult to in 80 grams of protein from shakes per day particularly because most things just don't taste that great. This is the first protein drink I've had that is genuinely good not just "Meh I guess that's ok for a protein drink." I fully recommend this to anyone!!



Lastly you can search around for other recipes- some people add a scoop of vanilla protein powder and a splash of drip coffee or drip coffee and sugar free vanilla syrup etc. I also hear Click makes DELICIOUS protein ice cream and I plan to give that a go in the upcoming weeks. If it is delicious I'll leave this as is. If it's nasty (which based on how great this stuff tastes then I doubt it will be!) I'll edit my review to reflect that.

one stroke is enough

Not a day goes by that I don't use these gelcaps ever since my stroke 6 years ago. Not only that but now I also purchase them for my mother. who just turned 80 in July. Her doctor said her cholesterol results lowered over 40 points in just 2 months after starting to use this product. My results changed dramatically from high triglycerides + high blood pressure to an average range within normal limits. Both doctors said to keep this regimen since it is definitely helping because diets alone and medications weren't enough to give these kind of results.

This is a Winner if you're Cholesterol Concerned you Need it

Bottom Line: Fish Oil really works to prevent artery disease namely heart disease and strokes. It's not a bogus health food thing it really works.



You need the EPA and the DHA from the fish. The other omega-3's 6's etc. aren't the same. Skip the flaxseed etc. You want enough EPA and DHA you don't wanna be grossed out by the taste or get a fishy "repeat" and you don't wanna drink a bunch of unnecessary fat.



This stuff is good because: it has the right concentration of EPA/DHA: 1.3 g/teasp which is high. And it tastes good. Even Nordic Naturals a very respected company has a similar EPA/DHA level but tastes nasty.



Remember these supplements aren't regulated. Go to consumerlabs.com they test the supplements. This wasn't tested but Carlson capsules and cod liver oil were tested and passed so i assume and hope this passes also.



That's all you need to know. If you're 30 or older and you have high blood pressure and cholesterol like everyone else take in at least 2 grams of EPA/DHA a day your arteries will stay clean.More detail ...

We are continuing taking the pearls daily and they are still working beautifully. The company advertises them as a way to control constipation but they work well for us for control of diarrhea. I have accidentally forgotten to take them a couple of times now and had my symptoms come right back. These things are worth their weight in gold.



During a recent MRI a serious sinus infection was found & I had to take HUGE doses of antibiotics for 10 days. I did not get any secondary infections this time either.



I had such a miraculous recovery from all my gastro problems that my doctor asked me to get some for him & he's been amazed by them as well. He dislikes prescribing lomotil & wouldn't take anti-diarrheals himself. He told me the last time that I saw him that he's had similar results for whatever his problems were (too much information I didn't want to know lol).

I have spent years battling with doctors over what 'disease' I have..Crohn's/IBS/Celiac?? I suffered greatly for over 25 years with raging bouts of cramps & diarrhea. If I took Lomotil or Immodium they would either not work or cause constipation & even more bloating and gas.



5 months ago I went on a modified version of the Metabolic Syndrome Diet and started an exercise regimen (I have lost over 50 lbs so far) but whole grains seemed to aggravate me even more. I experienced horrible bloating sporadic diarrhea & a sharp pain in my lower left abdomen. My GP suggested going on Atkins but I tried that in the 90's and hated it. I don't eat a LOT of carbs but I wasn't about to give them up altogether!



I can't eat sugar or milk so most of the plethora of probiotic products on the market were off-limits so I decided to try acidophilus. I tried the regular acidophilus tablets and they did not help at all.



I saw these on a gold box special and thought that they made sense. It's only logical that stomach acids would alter the bacteria if eaten in yogurt or cheese (my hubby ate those stupid 'activ' cheeses for 21 days straight with NO benefit at all).



After starting the pearls my entire digestive system seemed to have miraculously returned to what it was in my teens within days. No gas no bloating no diarrhea or constipation (from immodium or lomotil which I no longer have to take). Now I know what 'regular' means..it's wild!



I always got diarrhea yeast AND bladder infections from antibiotics. The last round of Cipro I took for a badly infected cut did NOT cause me any problems at all it had to be because of the probiotics. I used to keep Monostat and Sulfa on hand at all times because of the secondary infections I couldn't avoid. No more!



My husband had digestive problems as well and the pearls have caused vast improvement for him too. The doctor hadn't been able to diagnose what was causing his varying diarrhea/constipation bouts but they're gone & the doctor let him cancel the $1500.00 colonoscopy he had scheduled (bad insurance). Quite a savings!



I will not be without these Acidophilus Pearls ever again if I can help it! After so many years of suffering I'm simply flabbergasted that something this simple (& cheap) would solve both our problems so quickly. We found that it took about a week for optimal results.

Great for while you're in the gym...

First off I'm a 21-year-old male. I completed my first cycle on NO-XPLODE about two weeks ago and I have to say I did notice a great increase in my ability to focus and exert more power at the gym. I've also gained more muscle mass since using this product along with two soy protein shakes a day. Let me just break down my overall experience for you:



Pros:



Like I said it helped me maintain my focus and I didn't have to wait so long in between sets. I always felt pumped and ready to go at the gym. I easily spent between an hour and a half to two hours without feeling tired. I would have to make myself leave the gym reminding myself it wasn't good if I lifted too much in one day. Unlike some of the reviewers on other sites I never had any sudden stomach outbursts while I was at the gym. Whew.



Cons:



There were a couple of drawbacks to using this product as it does contain a freakish amount of caffeine and I'm assuming it's this dosage that gives you the focus and energy I spoke of. The first two weeks of use my body had some issues after coming down off my "high" at the gym. For instance I didn't take it on days I didn't train and it would be on those days I would have the worst headaches I've ever had. And when I say bad I mean my co-workers would ask me if something was wrong. I'd also have these overwhelming feelings of depression and hopelessness at times that were simply unexplainable as my life is pretty darn peachy.



I will say that I know I wasn't drinking the recommended amount of water along with this product which is a LOT - 120 oz. a day. So that may be what contributed to the side effects. I started upping my water intake and did not notice anymore headaches but this of course could be due to the fact my body was becoming a lot more tolerant at this point.



Bottom Line: I was happy with the overall results of the product. I recently purchased another cycle of it and plan on drinking the recommended amount of water to see if that helps with the headaches. I love it.

Well here's the famous Muscle Milk.

If you are thinking about getting this product but you are not sure if it is appropriate for you let me let you know why it probably is or probably isn't or at least you should go easy on it.

Although this is no "weight gainer" it is between a regular protein powder and weight gainer since 2 scoops have 350 calories. 160 of those are from fats 8 of them saturated. MCTs fats are easily burned as energy but you can still find nutritionists that say that's just not true. So it's up to you. I would go with bodybuilders and athletes that love the product since well they are the literally living proof.



When should you drink it? The manufacturer tells you that you should consume it after waking up before working out after working out and before sleeping...hehe well manufacturers are always telling us to consume their product as much as we can for "better results" but the truth is that supplements should be used wisely and aren't magic so don't worry about consuming it 4 times a day. Besides 160 times 4 are 640 calories from fat. That's 30% of 2000. You should get about 25% of your calories from fat (if you really wanna be lean) so if you mix the muscle milk with soy milk and you eat close to 3000 calories that's almost all the fats you should get. Nothing else no peanut butter no almonds etc. Besides there's no really need of muscle milk after waking up and before workout. Everyone knows that whey protein is the best pre workout protein due to its fast effect. But I get it after workout and before sleeping.



Does it work? Well if you have a good workout and you have a good diet it does work. I have dropped some body fat % since I started to take it and I have gained some muscle mass without gaining any fat. I recommend mixing this with soy milk or low fat milk at night and not getting anything else.

Getting calories from fats at night is fine when we sleep we burn calories and most of them from protein and fats. But we don't burn that many carbs while sleeping. Don't get me wrong I don't live the "low carb lifestyle" but I go easy on them at night. If you get less than 30 grams of them in the last hours of the day you'll be fine. That's why muscle milk is a good choice for pre sleep protein since it has little carbs.

For post workout I recommend the same mixture of Muscle Milk and soy or low fat milk but eat fruits too. You need carbs after workout and the fats will help a lot since carbs work better with fats (and protein too. In fact fats are much better being consumed to join carbs and protein).



Now I'm not gonna say this is the best tasting bodybuilding powder in the world because I haven't tried them all...but it is the best I have ever tried and I doubt there's anything better. I just love every flavor. The cookies and cream is just delicious almost like an ice cream. And it barely has sugar. You won't find a better tasting powder I'm sure of that.



If you are on a diet trying to lose that belly I wouldn't recommend this to you. But if you are already lean or have always been and now your goals is getting lean muscle then go ahead.

The price is the only turn off though but if you think a good product and with an awesome taste makes the price of a product even more worth it go ahead.More detail ...
